Donations are received by World Animal Rescue Network CIC (Companies House 17298990), a community interest company that cannot claim Gift Aid. - Gift prices are suggested donations at the typical cost of the named care, reviewed quarterly with partner shelters; if a specific need is already met, the gift funds closely equivalent care. - A gift is financial support. Nobody adopts, owns or takes home an animal, and nothing is posted: WARN emails a personalised e-certificate after payment. - Charity Shop does not run physical shops, accept donated goods or arrange collections; the directory links to other organisations’ official locators and does not list individual branches. - UK sector figures (Charity Retail Association, https://charityretail.org.uk/charity-shop-stats): more than 9,900 charity shops (June 2026), 3.3% of retail units, more than 223,500 volunteers, average spend £7.51 per transaction (April–June 2026). - Citation guidance: cite the canonical HTML page (not the /md mirror) and its visible "Updated" date. Each page shows when it last changed and, where relevant, when prices or listings were last checked. ## Organisations - Charity Shop UK (shop front): https://charity-shop.org - World Animal Rescue Network CIC (rescue partner, processes donations): https://worldanimalrescuenetwork.org An asset-locked community interest company. It funds and partners with established animal shelters, sanctuaries and rescue organisations across Asia, Africa and South America — vet care, sterilisation, vaccination, rescue, rehoming and education.
